Travelling is definitely one of life's greatest pleasures. Travelling is not only about going to a place with nice weather and nice culinary experiences, it is about exploring a whole new culture and seeing things from another point of view than we are used to at home.
When you travel it is a really great idea to get to see all of the beautiful things the designated country is most known for, but you can take it a step further and ask the locals about some of the other things they can recommend you to see. A lot of times you will find some beautiful and unknown gems by asking the locals and following their advice just make sure they don't recommend you their uncles 200$ 20 minute boat trip and scam you.
Another great thing you can do is to take a couple of days where you go deep into the city and eat where all the locals eat themselves. A lot of times you will have one of your greatest food experiences in these local places at some really low prices, just make sure that the place looks clean and hygienic.
The next great thing you can do is to go souvenir shopping, I literally have souvenirs from over 25 different countries and it is almost somewhat of a hobby that I collect items from all over the world, this helps you remember your memories more vividly and are just nice to have.
It is also a really great idea to have a notebook where you write the names and info of all the places you have been to on your vacation. A lot of times you forget some of the things but in this way you always remember your whole vacation and can give detailed stories about your vacation to your friends and family.
Make sure you get a lot of pictures and even video, as long as it is not ruining your fun and not allowing you to enjoy your travels. Some of the greatest places of travel I can personally recommend is southern Europe, south America, South east Asia, Hawaii and of course Australia.
You really won't go wrong with any of these destinations and they have something for everyone whether your goals are to simply relax or you want to go sightseeing and party a little, all these places will have loads of possibilities available for you.
